[ There isn't, no, but either way it'll be fun to see how it goes. ]
Right, right! I bet it'll be fun. You can do loops in the sky and everything.
[ He watches him look down out of the corner of his eyes, curious to see how he reacts to it. There isn't much of a reaction though, which is a touch surprising but it isn't necessarily a bad thing. ]
[ Akashi eventually picks up his pace so he's not left chasing after Kokichi. Now walking side by side (and still not retracting his hand???), he looks at the other person to ask-- ]
So, where exactly are we going? I haven't been to this part of the city before.
[ He just wants to make sure Kokichi isn't leading him to an alley to mug him or something, ok... Not that. . . he'll get mugged anyway. He's 100% sure he can defend himself if he needs to. ]
I have a couple of questions to ask once we're seated. It's about Iruma.
[ Wow, he isn't. In fact, it only takes a few minutes for him to push open the door to the cafe/bakery combo. ]
Okie dokie, when we choose a few and sit down you can ask me anything you want, okay? Nooow, let's see. Which haven't you tried before?
[ He pulls him in front of the display, curling his arm around Akashi's instead now, getting closer to see if the limit was the handholding or whether he can push it this far. ]
[ Ah, well. This isn't bothersome in the slightest, but Akashi does give Kokichi a curious look with a brow arched before he moves his gaze back to the cakes on display. ]
That one doesn't look too sweet, and-- [ He points at a carrot cake. ] ah, that looks nice.
Green tea would be just fine. [ And then he pauses, wanting to retract what he just said. ] Hopefully the flavour will complement the sweetness of the cakes.
[ "Shoo". Not something he hears from other people, but. Okay. He leaves Kokichi and finds a table by the window and merely waits. He's almost looks like a robot with how his back is so straight and how his hands are on the table's surface, placed on top of the other. ]
[ Look, at least he's saying it in a playful way. The waitress puts everything on a tray for them, and Kokichi pays her with the correct slyvs, no problems with it. When he makes it ti the table he nudges Akashi's foot with his own. ]
[ And make room he does! He bows his head a little to apologise for the inconvenience. Not that he thought it was an inconvenience in the first place. It's just the polite thing to say. ]
They look good, [ is what he says upon seeing the tray with the cakes. ] If only you could take a picture of them.
[ He places his hand on the table again and looks at Kokichi, unamused. His regal aura still surrounds him, and a normal person would likely fall to their knees already from the pressure, but Kokichi isn't a normal person, is he? Still, that doesn't mean Akashi can't act like a petulant child when things don't go his way. :') ]
Why don't we eat normally?
Omg nikkikins im sorry this got lost in the great phone tagging hell of 2017

To a bakery I know of nearby. [ He reaches up with his free hand to twist the edge of his hair. ] I said we were going for cake, didn't I?

[ Now he's pointing at a red velvet one! ]

Okie dokie, a slice of each of those. What about fruit? What fruits do you like?
[ How many is he getting?! ]
no subject
[ Why is he so boring! ]
no subject
[ Five??? How is he not fat tbh. ]
no subject
[ He's not going to eat more than half of each, pal. ]
no subject
[ He finally lets go of him. ]
What did you want to drink?
no subject
[ He knows what that is!!! ]
Green tea would be just fine. [ And then he pauses, wanting to retract what he just said. ] Hopefully the flavour will complement the sweetness of the cakes.

[ He nudges him gently. ] Take a seat and I'll bring them over.

Aaah, are you one of those people? [ He shifts Akashi's green tea towards him, setting the spoons on the cakes so one is on each side. ]
no subject
[ He's not sure what Kokichi means, but he's also sure he's not "that" kind of person. The kind that can be labeled, anyway. ]
I have a friend who does that, that's all. It's become a tradition of sorts when we eat something new.
no subject
[ He nods and hopefully that'll explain what "that" kind of person is now. ]
Does that mean I'm your friend now, Akashi-chan?
[ He's already digging a spoonful of the carrot cake, only he doesn't take it for himself and holds it up for Akashi instead. ]
no subject
[ He gently pushes Kokichi's hand down so he can take the spoon for himself. ]
I'm sure you feel the same way.
no subject
[ So he's just going to wiggle his hand away. ]
Open wide, Akashi-chan, a plane is ready to land.
[ Congrats on sharing cake with a 5 year old. ]
